English level A1 CEFR

English level A1 on the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) scale indicates a beginner level of proficiency in the language. At this level, learners are able to understand and use familiar everyday expressions and basic phrases related to personal information, such as introducing themselves or talking about their family, hobbies, and interests. They can also interact in a simple way provided the other person speaks slowly and clearly and is willing to help. A1 learners can ask and answer questions about personal details, and use basic vocabulary related to everyday life, such as numbers, colors, and common objects. They can also understand simple texts and messages on familiar topics, such as signs, posters, and public announcements.
